Organizing Is Time Well Spent

Whether you're organizing one space, preparing for a move, or making your home work better as life changes, the right plan can save you time long after the project is finished. Our process is designed to make the most of our time together and create solutions that make everyday life easier.

Our Five-Step Process

01

Free Phone Consultation

We’ll start with a quick conversation about your home, what’s not working, and what you’d like help with. I’ll get an overview of your project, answer initial questions, and determine the best next step.

02

In-Home Assessment

Next, I’ll see the space in person and learn more about how you use it. We’ll talk through priorities, challenges, and what you want to accomplish so I can understand the scope of the project and what kind of support will be most useful.

03

Your Project Plan

After the assessment, I’ll put together a personalized recommendation for your project, including the services, time, and next steps I recommend. For projects that include product planning or design, we’ll also identify which spaces would benefit from that additional support.

04

Organizing + Implementation

This is where the plan comes to life. Depending on your project, we may work through belongings together, reorganize the space, implement products, pack for a move, or set up a new home. I handle the details and keep the project moving so we can make the most of our time together.

05

Keep It Working

Your home will continue to change, and your organization can change with it. Seasonal resets, maintenance sessions, new projects, and life transitions give us opportunities to revisit what's working and adjust when needed.

Common Questions About Working Together

Have a few questions? You’re not alone — here are the most common things clients ask before getting started.

Q: How do I get started with your services? A: It starts with a quick consultation to discuss your needs and goals. From there, we’ll schedule a 60-minute in-home (or virtual) assessment to create a plan that’s personalized for your space, lifestyle, and timeline. You’ll receive a detailed proposal with next steps and pricing — no pressure, just clarity.

Q: What’s included in an organizing session? A: Each session includes hands-on organizing, product recommendations or sourcing, and system setup tailored to your space. I also handle space planning, labeling, and disposal coordination when needed — everything is designed to help your home function beautifully and efficiently.

Q: Do I need to be home during the session? A: You’re welcome to be there — but you don’t have to be. Some clients prefer to collaborate throughout, while others trust me to manage the process while they focus on their day. We’ll review your preferences during the assessment so the experience works best for you.

Q: What areas do you organize? A: I offer organizing services throughout the Kansas City area, including surrounding suburbs. If you’re unsure if you’re within range, just reach out — I’m happy to confirm or discuss virtual options if you’re outside the area.

Q: Can you help me pack or unpack for a move? A: Yes — move management is one of my specialties. I offer packing services, load staging, unpacking, and even organizing as we set up your new home. It’s all about creating a smooth transition with systems that support you from day one.

Q: What if I feel embarrassed about my space? A: Please don’t stress. My job is never to judge — it’s to support. Every home is different, and the fact that you’re reaching out already shows you’re ready to make meaningful changes. I bring experience, empathy, and a plan to help you move forward.

Let’s make your space work beautifully for your everyday.
